date in calculated column changes with the selected date in page filter

Hello, everyone,

In the calculated column, there is a date. In the page filter, there a date filter. If the date changes, the date in the calculated column changes accorrdingly.

For instance, if the page filter changes to 05/31/23, the date in the calculated column also changes to 05/31/23.

I would like to appreciate your help first.

Hi @12Bowers12,

In fact, current power bi does not support create dynamic calculated column/table based on filter effects. They are work on different levels and you can't use the child level to affect its parent.

Notice: the data level of power bi(from parent to child level)

Database(external) -> query table(query, custom function, query parameters) -> data model table(table, calculate column/table) -> data view with virtual tables(measure, visual, filter, slicer)
