Hi there,
I'm currently trying to setup a data model that our business users can use for our salesforce environment and I'm running into ambiguity issues with some relationships.
In my current model I've been using both direction cross filtering between 4 tables.
When I was creating my report however, I ran into the problem that when I filter on date in 1 object (for example dec 2016), that the other object still displays rows from other years (the relationships arren't based on dates).
Since it might be confusing for business users to filter dates on multiple date fields I wanted to create a date table to filter on. However when I want to create relationships from both objects to the date table I get ambiguity issues.
Is there any way to solve this?

Cool My dear friend,
Here your problem is on Relationship.
1. U have to deactive the relationship on Account.
or
2. Change the Cross Filter Direction to Single Instead of Both. look the image
let me know if any help
Hi @HarmVanG,
You create date table, create relationship between date table and other tables, which doesn't work? Could you please share the error message? Or share more information?
Please see the following screenshot, you can click the relationship(highlighted in red line) to view the tables' correlation. And manage them by clicking button highlighted in yellow line.
Best Regards,
Angelia
Hi @v-huizhn-msft,
Thanks for the reaction Angelina. I'd like to create a common filter for my end users so that when they filter on (for example a month) that both KAM scoring and event get filtered at the same time to minimize potential confusion.
Hope you can help me out.
Best regards
