date field not generates hierarchy
Hi,
I have a date field that not generates hierarchy, while I have other date fields thast generate hierarchy..how can I do?
Thank you
Giada_Togliatti , If you have an auto datetime checked (in options and setting) then you should get the date hierarchy.
But if it is a key field, you might miss that
These are the reasons Date Hierarchy can be missing

Hi Giada_Togliatti ,
it is highly recommended to use your own date table as a dimension and to switch off the automatism of hierarchy formation for columns with date values (see figure).
With kind regards from the town where the legend of the 'Pied Piper of Hamelin' is at home
