i have date column in fact table which has datetime data type and date column in calendar table has also datetime data type (dd-mm-yyyy 12:00:00)
when i join fact table and calendar table based on date column then the join is not working properly
i changed the data type of fact table from datetime to date and it is working fine. is there any other way to do it?

@powerbiexpert22 , I think you approach is correct to extract date from date and time and you can do it either in Power query or at front end using DAX

Normally, when I create a calendar table, I use the 'CALENDARAUTO()' function.
What function did you use to create a calendar table with the time being 12 o'clock?
I think the problem is that the time in the calendar table data was 12 o'clock, not midnight.
