data refresh

Hi, i'm a newbie to Power BI, hope all of you can share me your expert ideas/understanding.    How data lead time works at Power BI Online, Power BI Desktop, Power BI Pro and Power BI Premium?

    Data refreshes on occur for online.  Doesn't matter whether you are free or pro.  Data refresh happens through a data gateway.  You can organise the refresh to occur weekly or daily.  If you choose daily, you can make it happen 1 to 8 times in the day.

     

    With Power BI Premium, you can increase the daily frequency to 48 times a day.

    Power BI Service will execute the data refresh. There's no difference between licenses. It only depends on your data source, for cloud source, it run the query against cloud source directly. For on-premise data source, it will run query through data gateway. For more details, please refer to documents below:
