cumulative sum by category over month

Hi

I want to get a column that calculates the month to date sum of a value by site (category).

basically i have rows of data - each row represents the tonnes produced per site per day. I need a column that gives me a cumulative sum of tonnes produced month to date per site.....

Hi @hugus 

Create a calendar table

calendar = CALENDARAUTO()

Create relationship betwenn "calendar"table and your data table

Create measures in your data table

Measure = TOTALMTD(SUM(Sheet6[value per day]),'calendar'[Date])
