hi
im trying to turn a column with comma separeted list, into a distinct list
ive tried in few ways but i need some kind of loop that it looks like DAX doesnt have such
ideas?
Hi @emilypinhasi,
For your scenario, I'm afraid that DAX may not achieve that.
Why not try in Query Editor?
We usually split column with comma in Query Editor.
If you still need help, please share some data sample as table and your desired output so we could help further on it.
Best Regards,
Cherry
thanks for the help
i cant use the query editor cause ive created the column using dax
maybe ill describe the bigger problem
i have 3 tables:
teams table: column teamName
epics table: columns: key, teams
stories table: columns: epicKey, team
foreach story there is one team
im trying to populate the epics table so foreach key, get all the distinct teams from stories (related with the epicKey)
later i need to use the teamName as slicer to filter through the epics
hope this makes sense
