create a period column in data table

Hi,

I have a date table and want to add another column to find which Period ( WTD,MTD,QTD,YTD) it belongs. If i take 5/1/2021, it falls under three buckets MTD,QTD,YTD. I want to do that for each date..

Date	Period
5/1/2021	MTD
5/2/2021	MTD
5/3/2021	MTD
5/4/2021	MTD

Hi @srk_powerbi ,

Based on your description, you need to create 4 columns because the dates will be repeated over different periods.

Or you can concatenate periods into a column.
