connecting to semantic model missing columns
I am connecting to a Semantic Model in PowerBI Desktop, but not all the columns are coming in.
The table in the Semantic model has 25 columns in it, but only 24 is showing up in the Desktop, when I connet to it. The missing column is not a calculated column.
Can someone help?

When I look at the Semantic Model on the service, I see all the columns:
the column that I highlighted is not showing up in the Desktop, when I connect to the model.
Also, when I reconnect to the semantic model, in the preview section the column shows up, but after connecting, the column is missinglook at the tabe in the desktop, the column is not showing:

Hi elimey - can you open the original dataset in Power BI Desktop.check on model view and check whether the column is marked as Hidden. if itis hidden, unhide it and republish the dataset.
Hope this information helps.

Hi elimey
You will need to contact the person who created the semantic model or the Power BI admin to check if that model contains a hidden column.
If you happen to have permission to download the semantic model, try downloading it and check whether the column is visible. Do not use the Get Data > Power BI Semantic Models method to check if the column is available.

Oh okay, try creating a temporary workspace and refresh the pbix file from desktop and publishing the semantic model there. Then give it at least one refresh before connecting to it again from Power BI Desktop. See if the issue still persists. ?

Hi elimey ,
Thanks for reaching out to the Microsoft fabric community forum.
kushanNa ,
Thanks for your prompt response
It's working as expected on my end, where the number of columns is matching between the source (Semantic Medel )and Power BI Desktop.
Could you please try the troubleshooting steps suggested by kushanNa , rajendraongole1 , and FBergamaschi ?
