connecting to other tabs

In power service you can link tables to other tabs. Can you do this in power desktop as well?

You can add a tile to a dashboard and insert a custom URL.  You can copy the URL from any report page and paste it there.  To do this in a report is a bit more difficult.  You would need to load the URLs into your data model and mark them as a Web URL, then insert them into a visual that could leverage the URL - I haven't tried this.

Hi @ammartino44,

Do you mean "Set a custom link" in your dashborad?

Based on my research, this fearture is support on Power BI services only. In Power BI desktop, if you need to link to a report, you need to add hyperlink to a text box in a report.

Hi Matt. I mean when you click on a visualisation it will send you to another worksheet with related information (or more granular level information)
