I have access file and i can connect it with power bi desktop but i want to run on it a complicate query can it be done in power BI
like I think it can be done in power query?
Hi @Koby
It seems impossible, M accessing data function,
Access.Database(database as binary, optional options as nullable record) as table
it has no options about query.
Compared to the Sql.Databese()
So, I think it is impossible to do that. But you can get table from ms access and transform to what you want.

@Koby , it can be done in power query if that is supported in the initial connection. Which I doubt.
You can open a power query can try to replace the table name with a query in parenthesis. I tried that in past for some other database and it did not work.
