connecting data sources

Hello, I'm connecting Live to Tabular model and using PBI. Is there a way I can add an excel as an additional data source and use both Tabular and Excel at the same report? Thnaks!

    Hi Yael,

     

    With composite models, a report can seamlessly include data connections from more than one DirectQuery or import data connection, in any combination you choose.

thanks v-yulgu-msft. But about connecting live with Tabular? Can I use excel there too?

      thanks v-yulgu-msft. still not sure I understand - when connecting live to SSAS can I add an excel file also and create a report from both sources?
