connect data present on Email with power bi desktop

How to connect data present on Email with power bi desktop and service? I want to do this process, again and again, similar data transformations, similar reports..so how I can automate this? Also, I do not want to use any individual or employee's email id.

Hi @Anonymous ,

I think you can try Microsoft Exchange connector in Power BI to connect to mail application like outlook.

The Exchange online data source in Power BI desktop can retrieve data about the attachments and size. When you select the mail table, please click Edit go to Query Editor. You can find the column named Attachments and Attributes, please expand contained columns.

After you get data as you want, you can upload the latest data by refresh option.

For reference:

PowerBI - Get data from Exchange- Inbox details(size of the mail, attachments etc

Import Email Attachments Directly Into a Power BI Report using Power Query

Best Regards,
Rico Zhou
