condtional formatting

Hi is there any way this can be done in Power BI . I wont be having any data under men, women and other.  I just want it to be color coded. For task 1, lets say only Men to be color coded. For task 2...

    Hi Rajesh_Yarlagad,

     

    Standard Gantt visuals in Power BI focus mainly on task timelines (start date, end date).

    They do not support breakdown within a single task across categories (like Men, Women, Other) naturally.

    Therefore, to achieve your Excel-style color-coded behavior:

    1. Manually create a dataset with Task, Date, and Category columns.
    2. Use the Deneb visual, not Gantt. Deneb lets you fully control the bar segmentation by both date and category.
    3. Tasks will be Y-axis, Dates will be X-axis, and Color will represent Men/Women/Other.
