% columns total in the table are not working

I can't determine how Power BI does Totals on tables. 
I have a grouping filter (JW which is 70 people is set) and not sure why the hours and % are negative.

remove the grouping column and the total for 40 people is way off too.

when I do the groups with that same % field and it's way off too

I can remove the column totals in formatting but do need these calculations by group but can't figure out why it's not working dynamically.
