Hi There,
new to Power BI and looking for a little help/advice on this error.
we have 2 different reports created in Desktop, 1 is using direct Query, and the other Import for the data. the tables and relationships in the 2 reports are the same
we have added the same measure to both. in the report using Direct Query we get the error above. wondering if it is something to do with using Direct Query or not?
thanks in advance

I think switching to import should be the last resort, I'd suggest rewriting current syntax using DATEADD to something using e.g. FILTER etc. - if possible
can you share the syntax that gives the error & the structure of the tables included?
is it time intelligence related measure? they do not work in Direct Query

Hi Stachu,
thank you for the response.
we are using DATEADD, so by your response we would need to swith the mode to Import to get use of these?
many thanks
scott
