column level security for direct lake based model
Hi,
I have already been tried to apply field level security using Tabulor editor in the report but there are few challanges.
The report is based on a semantic model which brings data from the direct lake. Also, direct query is not a option here.
I am wondering if anyone can help to explain any other possible way to hide a column in the table visual for some users.
Thanks

jy2482 only challenge I see with CLS is if a user doesn't have access to the column the visual breaks, and it doesn't look like, it is not like the user will see all the rest of the column in the visual and not show the value for which the user doesn't have access, it just errors out.

Yes, agreed, the CLS shows error which looks like broken visual. I came across a solution to use field parameters to overcome this broken visual issue but it needs direct query when connecting to direct lake and this is not what we can choose.

the approoach explain in the blog, you shared the link, seems to work with the measures not the normal fields and not working in my case.
Is there any other way to achieve it?
