clear selections in multiple pages

Hi guys,

in my report i have two pages. each page will have several slicers and clear selections button. But, my requirment is that when i click clear selections in one page, it should clear slicers in all pages. if there is any possibility, please let me know

Hi, i had the exact same problem.

I ended up creating a bookmark for when a slicer had nothing selected. It essentially refreshed the page.

1. Set the page to have nothing selected.

2. Open the Bookmark pane (in views)

3. Create the bookmark.

4. Close the Bookmark pane

5. Add an image (i used a refresh symbol) assign an action to it (bookmark - the name of your bookmark)

There may be other ways but my users have said they like clicking it so, all good 🙂

I tried the same , but it clear slicers only in one page(on which you had added bookmark). My requirment is that, by selecting clear selections image which is placed in one page should clear slicers in all pages.

I have just checked mine again, whilst i did put resets on each page to make it easy to clear from anywhere they did also clear the other pages which i had synced slicers on.

Maybe just double check they are on for everything they need to be...

1. Click the slicer

2. Go to the view menu

3. Click Sync slicers

4. Make any amends you need to in the Sync Slicers pane.

Go to View tab 

Click on sync slicer

Check the sync checkbox in side pane

This is not the actual requirment. Sync slicers will keep the checked options default in all pages. Here i will have clear selections button in one page and it should clear selections in all slicers in all pages
