circular dependamcy error

i am trying to convert a measure into a column using bands = [ banding]

however i keep getting the error 'circular dependancy'

i need to create the column so i am able to use the measure variables as a slicer

the bands provide me with colour groups based on %

however i need to show the number of people in each band

any ideas what i could do?

Hi @maleehahk ,

Regarding the circular dependency error, it occurs when a calculation depends on itself, directly or indirectly. In Power BI, this can happen when you create a calculated column that refers to itself, or when you have multiple calculated columns that refer to each other.
