chiclet slicer
Using the chiclet slicer with 15-20 buttons where preserving the sort order I need is crucial... No matter what I do (sorting the data in edit query, adding a column to sort on, the new option to perist filters, naming the images a certain way so it will sort on the name, (believe me, I have spent 30 hours on this so far) and every possible thing ever posted on the subject and about 100 other things I have tried, when I publish , the chiclet button change/switch the sort order of my buttons (the top right of the chiclet slicer auto-re-sets and I can't stop it!!)... Does anyone have a solution I can try?... have run out of things to try... thanks

I'm not sure if this is exactly something you've tried, but I seem to be able to control the sort order by dragging a numerical "Order" column into the Values field of the Chiclet Slicer, then choosing "Sort by Order" in the Chiclet Slicer menu.
Here is an example with a flags table with Base64 image URLs with a made-up Order column.
The sort order here seemed to persist after I published to the Service.

You can try Bookmark to save current condition in a slicer(PBI service also support Bookmark). Please refer to this documentation:
