Hi @poojayadav22 ,

As mentioned by @Praful_Potphode  try their recommended visuals Charticulator, Chart Templates , Line and Clustered Column Chart.

If you want to represent quartile1, quartile3 you can also check out donut chart, which is a built in visual in Power BI.

I hope this information helps. Please do let us know if you have any further queries.
Thank you

Hi @poojayadav22

Have you tried using Python’s built-in visual? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3_DOF_qjguA&t=32s

The limitation is that there are no tooltips, so you will need to handle the data labeling within the visual and adjust them accordingly. If you want to interact with the visual, you will need to do so via a slicer.

attached is the sample i have created for your reference

i do not want to use python visual neither deneb right now i am using deneb chart

Hi @poojayadav22 , you can try xViz Box and Whisker Chart for this, here are the steps below to do so :

  • Go to AppSource → “xViz Box and Whisker Chart” → Add.

  • In Power BI Desktop:

    • Category field: dimension (e.g., department, region)

    • Values field: your metric (used to calculate quartiles automatically)

  • Under Plot Settings → Orientation → Horizontal

  • To add your circle (score):

    • Add your “User Score” as a custom data point / reference line.

    • Choose Marker shape = circle.

Hope this solution helps you make the most of Power BI! If it did, click 'Mark as Solution' to help others find the right answers.

i do not want to show whisker lines can you see the image that i shared with you

  • You can remove whiskers

In the Format Pane (paint roller icon):

    Expand Box Options

    Turn off:

    Show whiskers →  Disable

Display outliers →  Disable (if visible)

Set Box Fill = On, adjust color/transparency as desired.

Now your chart will show only the box between Q1–Q3 with the median line.

  • Add Your Circle (Score Marker)

Add a new Custom Data Point / Reference Line

    Choose:

Value: Your Score field or a measure

    Marker shape: Circle ()

    Marker color: Distinct (e.g., blue)

Line style: None (you only want the circle)

  • In Plot Settings → Orientation, select:

Horizontal (default vertical → switch to horizontal)

i have  four measures and i am using box and whiskers by maq software in this chart i cannot add my all four measures. which chart are you suggesting

You can try building custom xViz Box and Whisker  chart by following steps :

  • Get the visual:
→ AppSource → “xViz Box and Whisker Chart” → Add.
  • Switch to Custom Mode:
In Format Pane → Data Fields → Quartile Type → Select “Custom”.
This lets you manually provide Q1, Q3, and Median values.
  • Add your measures:
Category → e.g., “Region” or “Team”
    Q1 → Your Q1 measure
    Median → Your Median measure
    Q3 → Your Q3 measure
Custom Data Point → Your “Score” measure
  • Turn off whiskers:
Format Pane → Box Options → Show whiskers → Off
  • Set horizontal layout:
Format Pane → Plot Settings → Orientation → Horizontal

    ( Assuming :

    You have 4 measures:

    Q1 (25th percentile)

    Median (50th percentile)

    Q3 (75th percentile)

Score (actual / user value) )

can you give me the linek where it is available in app surce because i could not find ixviz box and whisker char and i want free one not the paid one. you can also suggest other chart if you have in your mind based on my requirement.

it will not work have tried you can check if i have four measures i won't be able to add them but thanks for helping
