chart display by different date period
Hi all
this is a sale report, and i wanted display the sale for each product for each different date period
the current data file does not have this info, so i was wondering if it is possible to add in?
Example date period Jan 15-Mar16 or Dec 16 to Mar17.
any advice is appreciated. Thank in advance

Not really sure if I understand your request but have you tried to make the use of the data column on your model and the slicer between dates?
Can you explain a little bit better what is the expected result.

hihi...as i have many products, so instead of manually using slicer between dates, is there a way to add this date period into the data and then using it as a slicer for the products.If it cannot be done, i wonder how to using the slicer manually if i need a product to display period between different years?
For example: Dec 16 to Mar17.

What do you mean by date period on your question? Do you want to have a column with the information that a specif product was only solde between Dec 16 and Mar 17?
Or do you want to create some pre definied periods and used them on a slicer?
