Hello,
I have a matrix in Power BI report view.
How to change the matrix scroll bar to up & down instead of left to right.
And fit the matrix to the view?
Solved! Go to Solution.
@pang22 The scroll bar automatically appears whenever your matrix is not able to show all the columns/rows.
you will need to resize your matrix to control the appearance of the scroll bar.
Hi @pang22
The scrollbars in matrices provide the functionality to access 'invisible' rows or columns due to limited space within the visual size
If there is not enough place for all rows there are vertical scrolls:
If the lack of place is for columns, horizontal:
or both :
The size and structure of the matrix you create determine which scrollbars will appear; it's not a format option that we can modify.

Hi @pang22
You can reduce the size of your columns like reduce the columns size , reduce the header size to min (8). Try to adjust the all column in single view to avoid scrolling.
Or Just do the following if you dont want scrolling.
Set the canvas to custom
Increase the width size to 2000 to more based on your scrolling.
Adjust your visual to the width size of your page.
then set fit to width option from view tab
I hope this will not have scrolling from left to right.
