change the data set layout
Hi All,
i had been working on migration from Mainframes to Power Bi.
i have dataset with column headers like
Beginning inventory with suspense count
Beginning inventory with suspense charge
Beginning inventory with Rework count
Beginning inventory with Rework charge
Added Inventory with center count
Added inventory with center charge
Added inventory with adjuster count...
Now i want to change this layout as
Iam working hard to get this transition, but can't find a solution. looking for experts solution

If type is dimension or parameter field already you can get this using stepped layout. If not you have created a table using summarize and union.

amitchandak i dont have any dimesnions in my dataset. I just have columns as mentioned earlier. Category and type i just created with sample data to get matrix layout
