change datasource (SQL) from import to directquery

In my Power Bi report I use data source (SQL) as import mode but now i want to change Direct Query mode. 

Now what I do?

Kindly give your solutions!!!

Hi @Govind,

 

While it's generally possible to switch a model from DirectQuery mode to use import mode, this means all the necessary data must be imported. It is also not possible to switch back (primarily due to the set of features not supported in DirectQuery mode). Here is an idea.

 

Besides, you may take a look at this workaround to change data source connection from Import to Direct Query.
