Hi all…
I have a current pbix file that is connect to excel. Is it possible to change the data source to google spreadsheet?
I tried setting-> change data source.
How do I select web or change to url.
Thank you.
@Anonymous
I tried to re-pro the issue from my end.
As i have seen it, we can't change the data source from Excel to web.
work-around:-
If the local excel and google spread sheet have same data, before save the file with different name for the back up.
1. Power BI Desktop >> Open the PBIX file (EX:- Sample.PBIX) >> Home >> Edit Queries >> Edit Queries >> New Source >> Connector (Ex:- web) >> Load the data by selecting the file.
2. Remove the Excel file table and Click on "Close and Apply".
3. Home >> Refresh and check for the data in all the visuals.
