card visual display thousands
In the new Power BI Card visual, my value 87.730 is automatically displayed as ‘87,73K’. I cannot find any ‘Display units’ or formatting options to disable this. How can I force the card to show the ...
- 6 months agoI’ve now resolved my issue. There was no functional error in Power BI. I simply couldn’t find the correct setting.
The confusion came from using the Danish app translation, where “Callout” had been translated to “Billedforklaring” (which literally means image explanation). That translation didn’t make me think of the settings related to a Card visual, so I overlooked it.
Thanks for your help

If you change the Display units option to "none" this will show the full number on the card.

This is exactly the setting I am looking for and used to have in the card visual. But it seems like it no longer exists. Version: 2.150.2455.0 64-bit (januar 2026)

It looks like you were using the 'classic' old Card visual, which is no longer the default..
The one on your screenshot is the new card visual, Microsoft redesigned the Card visual so that formatting is now field-level, each measure has its own formatting section and display units only appear when formatting the value itself. It’s hidden one level deeper than before, which is why many think it was removed. So you would need to go to the Specific Measure for 'Apply settings to' under 'Callout', or simply search 'Display unit' on the search bar.
