Hi, i have a guage in which I'm attempting to show min and max of the matrix, and no matter where i click on the matrix, it changes the gauges min and max fields.
How do i keep the min max of the gauge stable no matter where I click on the matrix?

Hi @StevenT ,
If the issue still persists, we kindly request you to share the sample data in a workable format such as text, an Excel file, or a PBIX file with sample data instead of screenshots. Additionally, please include the expected output. This will enable us to assist you more effectively.
Best regards.

HI @StevenT
Just want to check how your MIN/MAX value on gauze chart is coming. Is it using a measure or directly applying summarization on some column?
The reason I am asking is, consider the following gauge chart where I haven't set-up any min/max values and it takes everything by default.
And thus changes with any selections or filters.
Now I just created a measure for Min Emissions making sure it doesn't get filtered by any selections. This will be different in your case and move it to my gauge chart.
Now when I try interacting with it using a slicer, it doen't chnage my Minimum value on the gauge chart.
This is one way you can achive what you are looking for. Just do create a similar measure for Maximum value and use it on the gauge chart.
Hopefully this solution helps.
Thanks for this. The problem is that when i click on the totals, everything works great. When I click on the detail in the row, it changes.
So what I'm trying to do is to set it up so that clicks to the detail are ignored because I want the gauge to only show one thing..the % difference between that record and the largest record in the matrix.
in this example I've highlighted the record and it is correct on the gauge, matching the table (gauge is rounded off
but I'll click on the detail next to it.. the gauge now shows that specific data point.
My goal is to keep the gauge looking like the first image, no matter where in the record i click on.
Hi @StevenT
I suggest you share the measures created for Min Max values here an also the semantic model for your report.
To get it working the way you want, you will have to adjust your measures accordingly.
This is really good! It's late in the evening but I'll give it a try tommorow and tell you how it goes.
It's so weird..I can keep the max static as long as i click on the total in the row summary, but clicking on the detail throws it off.
Your suggestion looks very comprehensive. Thanks
