can't edit column formula in power BI

I went to add a sort to a Calculated Column , to discover I can edit the calculated column, the formula bar is greyed out and the icon is missing from beside the column name, any ideas why?

I suppose, on first looking at it, the column looks like it already exists.  Either it's in the source data or it's been created in Power Query.  Maybe you can confirm one of those theories before we investigate further.
