call web API from a function instead of using static url

Is there any way to get data from a function without using a web as below. call a function instead of this method.

or

make web api url parameters dynamic. like: http://localhost:5555/getData?date=parameter

Probably, try looking into Query Parameters. Also @ImkeF can probably help but there isn't much to go on here.
