calculated field

  Need help on calc field per company as buy and sell are 2 diff rows. They need to be net off to get the profit from the transaction done that day... hope somewat clear

    Hi Anonymous ,

     

    If you use a matrix visualization and place the Trans column in the columns you get the expected result:

     

    This depends on how you want to setup everything but then making some measures you can have the results has you need.

Your description is not very clear. What are your needs ? What kind of effect do you want to achieve ? Can it be reflected in the form of pictures or data, if possible, please provide your pbix file (remove private information) .

    let me try again - am trying to get a summary say as pivot in excel of buy and sell trnsctions a day over few days. sheet 'b s indiv' is the base data
