Hi,
i am complete Power Bi newbee, but have a fair amount of experience in coding and also sql.
I try to create a bar chart that has a common axis of a column (state). Each state should be detailed into metrics which are again in a column of the same row. The value of the metric(s) are calculated by summing up a column (Value) of all rows that match the first two criterias (state and metric). I hope I could explain my goal properly 🙂
The desired visualization
The Data Table (view of a sql server)
I cant find a post, tutorial or any other source of help. Thus I would appreciate your help or hints very much.
Thank you

Hi @Anonymous ,
You can create a chart with state as axis, metric to legend, value to value field with summary mode 'sum'.
