avoid summing or counting values

how can i make certain column to show his monthly value because its either summing it to total months or counting all the values, thanks in advance

      hi 

      so in line and stacked column I have months on x axis and when im using parameter for line as they are in numbers its showing summation (one horizontal line) but i want them bifurcated monthly

    please create a drawing (a simple sketch) and some sample data, I'm struggling to understand the look of the data visualization.

      i just want my no of candies to be bifurcate on monthly bassis but its showing either total sum (12 +5=17)or count of `number (4 in this case)
