arrow change with date measure

Hi,

I use unichar to show the values with icons. When there is no value, i see the icon "(BLANK" which i don't like. I tried different things but it didn't work. Here is my measure:

ArrowTest2 =

VAR down = UNICHAR(9660)

VAR up = UNICHAR(9650)

VAR DIF = [PrevQty] - [SumQty]

RETURN

SWITCH(TRUE(),

       ISBLANK(DIF), "",

       DIF<=-0.3, up,

       DIF > -0.3, down,  "-")

I compare the result with the previous month. if there are values in measures or slicers, it works. However, it is not working when i choose a value from the slicers that doesn't have a value. I need to use separate tables for the slicer selections.

You mentioned in the post:
VAR DIF = [PrevQty] - [SumQty]

You use in PBI

VAR DIF = [SumPred] - [SumQty]

what is now the right DIF? 🙂

Because 3+BLANK() is 3! You can change the RETURN to the DIF Variable, than you will see it.

Kennzahl = 3 + BLANK()
