alternative dax for sumx for faster performance

Is there a better performing DAX formula that can do the same thing this does.

SUMX(filter(TDR,
AND(
    CONTAINSSTRING(values(TrueUp[OverAllHostCloseDYRS]),TDR[TaxYearNbr]),
CONTAINSSTRING(values(TrueUp[OverAllHomeCloseDYRS]),TDR[TaxYearNbr]))),    [Amount])

Try rplacing CONTAINSSTRING
create a varible and store the value there and then try

var a = CONTAINSSTRING(values(TrueUp[OverAllHostCloseDYRS]),TDR[TaxYearNbr])

return SUMX(filter(TDR,
AND(
          a,
          a)),    [Amount])

I think this should help
