Hello,
I am having issues publishing a web app in Power BI. I have followed numerous posts on this forum but still have not solved my issue even though it seems common among this forum. When I first clicked File-->Publish to Web, I got this message.
After some search I found a post saying that I need to give myself admin role within the Azure portal. So I did this.
This did not fix my issue as when I signed out and signed back into Power BI and went to the admin portal the sections I need still do not appear.
Lastly, I found another post saying that I needed to grant myself admin role within Microsoft 365 admin portal, however, when I log into my account I dont see any section where I am able to do this.
I am still unable to embedd my web app after the troubleshooting steps above. I would greatly appreciate any feedback as I have spent hours on this now and still have had no success. I feel like I am going in circles. Thanks to anyone in advance.
Barry
@Anonymous you need permission to Power BI admin portal and under the tenant settings, publish to web is turned off which need to be turned on and give permission to some users, check this blog post.
I would ❤ Kudos if my solution helped. 👉 If you can spend time posting the question, you can also make efforts to give Kudos whoever helped to solve your problem. It is a token of appreciation!

Hello, thanks for your reply. However as stated in my post I have given myself Power BI admin rights in the azure portal and still have no "tenant" settings with the Power BI admin section as shown in my post. Any more help would be greatly appreciated thanks.
