add measure to matrix table column

Hi,

I 'd like to add a measure as a column in a matrix table. Other columns in the the table feed from data table and are not measures.

Below is the formula i use. Is this something that can be done in power bi? Anyone have a solution for it?

GP % = (CALCULATE(('P&L'[2021]), 'P&L'[P&L] in { "Customer Gross Profit"})/CALCULATE(('P&L'[2021]), 'P&L'[P&L] in { "Customer NS"}))

  • Hi Anonymous ,

Measure can not be putted  into the Rows or Columns of matrix visual, it can only be in the Values. But calculated columns can be in the Rows, Columns or Values of matrix visual.

If you need any other help please provide some more details, according to your formula I am getting an aggregated value, I don't understand why it is being put into the Columns, not the Values.

Anonymous Should be but not sure what the issue is, with the current calculation?

Sorry, having trouble following, can you post sample data as text and expected output?
Not really enough information to go on, please first check if your issue is a common issue listed here: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Blog/Before-You-Post-Read-This/ba-p/1116882

    The most important parts are:
    1. Sample data as text, use the table tool in the editing bar
    2. Expected output from sample data
    3. Explanation in words of how to get from 1. to 2.
