add image button in preferences is not working any more

This one is really weired...

I wanted to change the background image of a page. So, I went to the visualization preferences of the page. There, under "wallpaper" I deleted the image that was currently active (by clicking on the "x" besides the image file name). A button appears with the legend "+ add image":

Normally, by clicking on this, I could select a new image and that´s it. But now, perhaps since I upgraded to version december 2021, I click on that button and nothing happens!

The same occurs if I try to change the icon on a button, for example.

Any clues?

@superjam I don't have this issue in Dec version, can you check on a different machine just to rule out it is not a machine specific issue.

Thank you, @parry2k for your quick answer!

The desktop is running on a Windows server and I connect to the server through Remote Desktop, on a Mac.

I tested connecting through a Windows PC and indeed, the problem dissapeard. Very strange! So, the problem might be on the remote desktop application I have running on my Mac. Very unfortunate.

At least I now know a work arround. Thank you.
