Zebra BI card formatting with FP issue

Hello community!

I am working on a report where I am using ZebraBI card as a visual to depict value of KPI, it's comparison to previous and target period, like so(pic.1):

I also have a slicer on a page, that allows me to change the calculation between MTD, QTD and YTD. It is base on Field parameter.

The issue I have is with formatting, I am setting it in Focus mode like so(pic.2):

Since it is FP, I have to that on QTD and YTD vaules individually, the scenario is:

1. I set it on MTD, it looks ok.

2. I go to QTD, I change it likewise, it looks ok.

3. I go back to MTD and it is straight to entry formatting, with that ".0" again, like it was never changed.

In visualizations pane is set Data Labels to None:

KPI measure is a sum of whole number values, and i itself is also set to:

Does anyone have an idea on how to keep that formatting throughout all FP selections? Let me mention, I want it to be exactly the same between MTD, QTD and YTD, but it mustn't have that decimal values.

If it is not supported then can you suggest what type of native pbi visual would be the best to mimic this exact (or closest possible) layout?

Thanks!

Hello.
I have the same problem. How did you solve it?

Hi @geek_bar ,

Based on the information you provided, you can try the following steps to fix the problem:

  1. Re-confirm that you have set all metric value formats to whole number and that this setting is common, not just at the visual level.
  2. You might consider using bookmarks to save the state of the report page, and using buttons to navigate between these bookmarks, which will maintain the formatting you have set.
  3. Consider using native Power BI visual objects, such as the Standard Card visual object or the Multi-line Card visual object. You can use the Format pane options to customize these visual objects to remove decimals and mimic the Zebra BI card layout to some extent.

  4. Provide feedback to Zebra BI. They may have a solution, or this can be considered in a future update.

If these comments do not help, please provide details of the steps you followed and we can discuss and resolve the issue further.

Best Regards,

Ada Wang
