Your file was published but disconnected - Help

Hi Community 

I have recently started getting this message when publishing to the web

However when Im in Power bI services I am unable to chose a gateway as the apply button is greyed out.
Can anyone tell me of a solution

Hi all, I got this message as well, but for a Dataflow which shouldn't need a gateway. So first check if any of the data sources you are connected to needs a gateway. If not, then go to 'Manage connections and gateways', under the tab Connections. In my case there were  2 entries for one data connection which I use for some dataflows. I deleted the one connected to a gateway. Then I refreshed the report in Power BI Desktop and republished it. The message now no longer appears.

It turns out the issue was with a database wih no gateway assigned

Hi, 

I recently have got this message and there seems to be little information on it. I have read the posts about gateways, but I am not using a gateaway so unsure why I would be gettingt his message. Any ideas would be great.

Hi Ravasik, mycompanies IT department did this for me.  I have attached a link explaining gateways and setting them up. Hope fully this helps
