Hi,
I am an experienced PBI developer but am a complete novice on MS Dynamics 365.
I'm reaching out to you as there seems to more things to consider when connecting to MS Dynamics 365 than when connecting a traditional SQL/Oracle database. By that, I mean the presence of Option Sets, record/table fields within the Entities, etc...
It is different to the source data I've worked with previously and it is for this reason that I am reaching out to you for advice/guidance (posts/articles/videos) to help me approach PBI reporting on MS Dynamics 365 data as best I can.
To add, I have researched this topic myself and have seen the standard approaches (i.e. Dynamics 365 (online) connector), however I am aware of newer technqiues so if anyone can share their experiences it will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
<please note: I had previously placed another post encompassing many questions but at the advice of the moderator I have split my questions into separate posts>
Bump. Anyone please?
For those that have used PBI with MS Dynamics 365 I would very much like to hear your experiences and the connection methods you chose, and why?
Thanks.
