I need a line or bar chart to show year over year comparison for two categories but also show month at same time. Is that possible? My data shows the columns 'Reported Date' and Category with values of Covid or Non-Covid. I need to show Year over year comparision by month. I'm new to Power BI and using quick measures and DAX. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi @ahhollan ,
You could check accepted solution on this link, it is pretty the same topic: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Desktop/Year-over-Year-calculation/td-p/75403
In other words, there are several ways to combine current and previous year (DateAdd function, SamePeriodLastYear, PreviousYear) - you might check more about these functions for easier use.
