Year axis sum error

I am new to POWER BI and would like to get some help from you guys, Whenever i try to select any value from YEAR coloum , it automaticly add them up rather than showing year i.e 2013, 2014 on the axis..

Hi @bil1,

Did you mean the Year column add up automatically on Y-axis?

In chart, the Y-axis only supports numeric values, and it will be aggregated by default. In your scenario, change the Sum aggregation to Maximum for a test.

 

Besides, make sure that Year column is set to whole number type and didn't come in as Text. Otherwise, all you will get is a Count aggregation for a Text column in your visual.
