Dear Community
I have a measure to calculate YTD values, which is derived as follows:
Sales_YTD_Advanced =
CALCULATE(
SUM('FactTable'[Value]),
DATESYTD('Date'[Date]),
ALLSELECTED('Date'[Month])
)
I have another measure to calculate Last year values for selected months as follows:
LY = CALCULATE([Amount],DATEADD('Date'[Date],-1,YEAR),REMOVEFILTERS('Date'[Date]))
All i need is to have a YTD measure for Last year (LY) measure.

Sales_LY_YTD = //try this
CALCULATE(
[Amount],
DATESYTD(DATEADD('Date'[Date], -1, YEAR)),
ALLSELECTED('Date'[Month])
)
Hi,
Not sure of what you want but try these simpler measures
Sales_YTD_Advanced = CALCULATE(SUM('FactTable'[Value]),DATESYTD('Date'[Date]))LY = CALCULATE([Amount],sameperiodlastyear('Date'[Date]))If these do not work, then share the download link of the PBI file. Show the expected result there clearly.
Sales_LY_YTD = //try this
CALCULATE(
[Amount],
DATESYTD(DATEADD('Date'[Date], -1, YEAR)),
ALLSELECTED('Date'[Month])
)
It worked like a champ. Many thanks
