YTD AVERAGE

Here is the formula i use to find the month to date of tons per day 

AVG MTD TONS PER DAY = AVERAGEX(

KEEPFILTERS(VALUES('CALENDAR'[DATE])),

CALCULATE(SUM('FEED TONS'[TONS])))  this is based on working days that tons were processed. if i want to find the average of YTD so if pick november it will average sept, oct, and nov based on the days that tons were processed.
