Y-axis -scatter chart
What kind of data (column value) to be dragged into Y-axis-Scatter Chart? When I'm trying to drag a column from my table then its not getting added in to y-axis field
Hi PCC ,
You can put a field of numeric type on the Y axis of the Scatter Chart and use it normally, but the scatter chart does not take text values on the x-axis or y-axis, it will use COUNT to make the field a number, the play axis does take a text value but it doesn't necessarily produce the effect you need.

Some sort of numeric value needs to be added, so a column with text strings won't work for example. What Data type is your column?
