Y-axis end limit

Hi all,

I am trying to set the End limit on my Y-axis to 24 because I want to show the time distribution of my project each day.  However when I do this it just keeps in at 25 because PBI seems to want to keep the Y-axis in steps of 5. Please see the screenshot below:

Any idea how to solve this or should I report it as a bug?

Kind regards,

Douwe

Hi @Douwe

Based on my test, I can replicate this scenario, it looks like the End value setting for Y-axis makes no difference. Only for some specific values, it works fine, like 1,2,5,10,15, etc but not for all. I would suggest you submit a feedback at this page:

Appreciate for your understanding.

Best regards,

@Douwe I can replicate that and it is by design that power bi visuals scales automatically. Unless you specify both the start and end values eg 125 to 129 then you will see only those on y-axis but if you only enter end value it will scale itself to the round figure.

But I did fill in my start as 0 and end as 24, so I would say it should adjust the y-axis such that it shows in steps of 4 or 6, instead of 5 and ending at 25.
