8 years agoY Axis and Log Scale
In a column graph with high variance, log Y axis is beneficial to clearly see differences. but in Power BI, when you select Log scale type in a column or bar chart, it doesn't sort any effect.

Please see below response from PG team:
"This is a known limitation - log scales break when zero is included, and bar/column charts include Zero by default to show relative heights. Ask user to set a min value for their value axis, a power of 10 such as 10 or 0.001.
We have a task planned to address this by setting a smart min value, and add warnings if things don't work for log axis (such as zero included in the range)."Best Regards,
