Y-Axis Alignment Issue in Line and Stacked Column Chart
- 1 year ago
Hi Anonymous
Welcome to the Microsoft Fabric Community Forum. Also , thank you rajendraongole1 for your prompt response.
Currently, Power BI does not offer dynamic synchronization of primary and secondary Y-axes in combo charts like the Line and Stacked Column Chart. However, you can simulate axis alignment using DAX. To do this, calculate a shared maximum value for both the primary and secondary measures using functions like MAXX over ALLSELECTED. Apply this shared value through transparent dummy measures on each axis, ensuring uniform scaling regardless of the filters applied. For reference: Combo chart in Power BI - Power BI | Microsoft Learn

Hi - you can't dynamically bind the axis range, but you can simulate this behavior via transparent dummy data, Power BI currently does not support auto-synchronization of the axes out-of-the-box. You can calculate a shared max value across both measures using DAX and use that to fix the axis ranges via fields in the visual. But if you're comfortable with custom visuals and want more control, Deneb. Hope it helps.
you can bind axes directly to measures, including this max value too.
