.XLS EXCEL FILE

Why power BI deskstop cannot import data from .xls excel file but on the save as type shows power BI can support .xls excel file.

In Power BI Desktop, both Access databases and early versions of Excel workbooks (.XLS files of type Excel 2007-2003) use the Access Database Engine.
